Trivia #3 Toilets

The toilet....that wonderful invention that we would rather not talk about.


  1.  An average person spends around three years of their life sitting on a toilet.
  2. King George II died on a toilet.
  3.  A bathroom in Hong Kong is made out of solid 24-carat gold.
  4.  More than 40,000 US citizens get injured by a toilet every year.
  5.  In a public bathroom, the first toilet stall is the least used, therefore the cleanest.
  6. Spiders have been known to commit suicide by jumping into toilets. Scientists are baffled as to why, but studies have shown that there might be a nuero-trigger in the spider's miniscule brain that leads to this behavior.
  7. One-third of Americans flush the toilet when they are still sitting on it.
  8.  The military used toilet paper to camouflage their tanks in Saudi Arabia, during the Desert Storm War.
  9. Most toilets flush in E flat.
  10. A $100,000 study was conducted to see if people put their toilet paper on the holder with the flap behind or in front. The result: three out of four put the flap in front.
